Programme for Quaid’s Day in NWFP

PESHAWAR, Dec 22: The NWFP Government has decided to celebrate the birthday of the Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of the nation, falling on Sunday 25th December 2005. According to the programme, there will be a general public holiday throughout the province on Dec 25. The National Flag will be hoisted on principal government buildings throughout the province, special programmes will be presented by Radio Pakistan/TV Station on the life, ideas and achievements of the Quaid-e-Azam.

There will be scout rallies and march pasts of school children, special exhibition of relics of Quaid-e-Azam, celebration of Quaid-e-Azam week by the Pakistan National Council of Arts, exhibition of documentary films on the Quaid-e-Azam in cinema halls.—PPI
