TOBA TEK SINGH: A domestic help allegedly shot dead his master’s daughter in Faisalabad’s Chak 216-RB.

According to the Khurrianlwala police, Shaukat Sultan demanded advance money, but Zarina Kausar, daughter of Ashraf, refused to pay the money, over which he shot her dead and fled. The police were conducting raids to arrest the suspect.

ACCIDENT: Two women died and 26 people, including 14 women, were injured seriously on Jhang-Toba Road near Ashaba Canal bridge in Jhang late on Monday when their tractor-trolley on which they were travelling, collided with a truck.

Rescue 1122 reported that 35 people, of Mauza Ashaba, were returning to their village after harvesting the maize crop from a cultivator when the accident occurred.

Both the deceased women were identified as Maryam Bibi, 26, and Kalsoom Bibi, 25.

The injured people were shifted to the Jhang DHQ Hospital, including Rubab Bibi, 16, Bhagan Bibi, 32, Nadia Bibi, 15, Kaneeza, 30, Maqsooda, 24, Perveen Akhtar, 35, Ghulam Fatima, 50, Deeba Mai, 30, Nusrat Bibi, 20, Sonia Bibi, 22, Tahira Batool, 16, Aziz Fatima, 29, Nooran Bibi, 28, Sarina Bibi, 55, Ghulam Sarwar, 39, Khairat Ali, 24, Muhammad Shabbir, 35, Sher Ali, 40, Shabbir Ahmad, 37, Riasat Ali, 16, Muzammil Ali, 17, Dilmeer Khan, 50, Shahbaz, 23, Haq Nawaz, 42, Talib Khan, 13 and Allah Ditta, 23.

DIES: A man died by suicide on Tuesday, according to Rescue 1122 officials.

Nisar Ahmad, 50, of Bhutto Colony, in Faisalabad, inflicted cuts on his throat with a knife as a result he died due to excessive bleeding. Also, a woman died by suicide in Gojra on Tuesday evening.

Police said Alia Bibi and her husband Imran exchanged words and later, she hanged herself to the ceiling fan.

She was a mother of two minor children.
