Scrutiny of clubs to start tomorrow

LAHORE, Dec 20: The scrutiny of hockey clubs and elections at district levels in Punjab will be held from Thursday. The process will be completed by Jan 5, 2006. The provincial coordinator Khusro Pervez Khan has finalized the process of scrutiny and elections in a meeting held on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by district sports officers and regional coordinators of the province.

In each district, the scrutiny will be held on the first day and elections on the next day.

The schedule of scrutiny and elections is as under:

Rawlpindi Zone.

Islamabad Dec 22-23, 2005; Jehlum Dec 24-25; Chakwal Dec 26-27; Attock Dec 28-29; Rawalpindi Dec 30-31.

Sargodha Zone.

Sargodha Dec 24-25; Bhakhar Dec 26-27; Mianwali Dec 28-29;

Khushab Dec 30-31.

Faisalabad Zone.

Jhang Dec 24-25; Faisalabad Dec 26-27; Toba Tek Singh Dec 28-29.

Gujranwala.

Hafizabad Dec 24-25; Narowal Dec 24-25; Mandi Bahauddin Dec 26-27; Sialkot Dec 28-29; Gujrawala Dec 30-31; Gujrat Jan 1-2, 2006.

Lahore.

Sheikhupura Dec 27-28; Nankana Sahib Dec 29-30; Kasur Dec 31, Jan 1; Okara Jan 2-3; Lahore Jan 4-5 January.

Multan.

Multan Dec 24-25; Lodhran Dec 24-25; Khanewal Dec 26-27; Pakpattan Dec 28-29; Sahiwal Dec 30-31; Vehari Jan 3-4.

Bahawalpur.
