GUJAR KHAN: A sessions’ court in Jhelum on Wednesday sentenced three persons to life imprisonment in drugs and arms case.

According to details, the convicts were arrested by Chotala police of district Jhelum in June 2021 for carrying 15-kg hashish, 5-kg opium, a 222 bore riffle, and a 9mm pistol without licence.

The car they were travelling in was also taken into custody by the police.

After listening to the arguments, Additional Sessions Judge Shahbaz Hussain sentenced Mohammad Rafiq, Sher Ali and Mohammad Kashif to life imprisonment.
