SANGHAR, Dec 17: A case has been registered against five people for claiming evacuee property worth millions of rupees, including vast area of the Government Girls’ High School, by producing fake papers.

Mohammad Din, Chaudhry Ghulam Rasool and Chaudhry Muzaffar Khan in connivance with revenue official Tapedar Mohabbat Khan Chandio prepared fake documents of a property (Serial numbers 264, 1 and 2, Deh Sanghar.

The property belonged to Rio Mal and Kalir Mal who had migrated to India.

The property was shown allotted to Noor Bakht, wife of Ghulam Rasool, and then transferred through attorney Syed Karam Shah to the aforementioned people. One of them, Muzaffar Khan, who is a government contractor, constructed government buildings over the land and later claimed its ownership.—Correspondent
