KARACHI, Dec 17: A large number of people, accompanied by their families, visited the All About Lifestyles Winter 2005 exhibition at the Expo Centre on Saturday.

The special guests to the family event on Saturday – the second day of the three-day event – were, however, over a 100 handicapped children who had fun for over three hours visiting the exhibition in the afternoon.

The organizers of the exhibition, the Dawn Group of Newspapers had invited the handicapped children, and the trip was organized by noted social worker and artist Jimmy Engineer.

The children were taken around various exhibition halls and informed about the products on display. Later, they were entertained by handicapped artists from the Ida Rieu School and College for the Deaf and Blind.

The disabled artists led by their senior colleague, Mohammad Saleem, presented folk and national songs. The children from Dar-ul-Sukoon entertained their colleagues with their dance performances.

A German shepherd show was also organized at the exhibition in the afternoon. An All-Breed Championship Dog Show will be organized on Sunday afternoon – the third and last day of exhibition.
