PESHAWAR: Building restoration

PESHAWAR, Dec 17: The officials of Archives and Museum, CD&MD, Irrigation and Building and Works department Saturday reviewed applications for consultancy in a project launched for reviving the past glory of Peshawar by restoring and rehabilitating the historic city wall and old buildings in Qissa Khawani bazaar.

The meeting decided to form a sub-committee for technical evaluation of the applications, said the Director of Archeology and Museums Department, NWFP, Prof Dr Ehsan, who presided over the meeting. He said that the sub-committee would complete technical evaluation within 10 days.—APP
