LAHORE, Dec 16: NBP pacers Wasim Khan and left-arm Zahid Saeed demolished Service for a paltry 72 in 31.2 overs in their first innings on the opening day of the second round of Patron’s Trophy Grade-I at Sheikhupura Stadium on Friday.
Wasim finished with six for 38 off 15.2 overs while Zahid captured four wickets for 28 to wrap up the innings.
Eight batsmen failed to touch the double figure as NBP used only Wasim and Zahid.
By close of play, NBP had levelled the Service’s total for the loss of two wickets as only 12 overs could be bowled. Paceman Muhammad Irshad took both wickets for 29 runs.
