HONG KONG, Dec 16: The six major developing countries have demanded withdrawal of a controversial clause from the draft ministerial text on the services sector. According to a joint letter sent to the chairman of the ministerial conference John Tsang, a copy of which was made available to Dawn, the developing countries — South Africa, India, Philippines, Venezuela, Kenya and Cuba- have pleaded that the annex “C” of the text was neither an agreed text nor a consensus document.
