KARACHI, Dec 16: Seven ships carrying steel coils, iron scrap and to load cement are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where eight ships, European Highway, to unload cars, Balgarka, to offload general cargo, Johar, to unload crude oil, CMA CGM Simba, APL Orchid, Iran Shahryar, Thor Captain and Wan Hai-311, to unload and load containers, were berthed after the departure of five.

The ships, which departed included Hyundai Future, Y.M. Star, APL Orchid, Kota Wijaya and CMA CGM Simba, while Iran Shahryar, Johar, Federal Kushiro, D.D. Vigor, Wan Hai-311, Kota Merdesa, Koriana, OBS Glory and Royal Crown are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves remained fairly brisk where the total tonnage of 0.117m tons comprising 20,540 tons of export cargo and 96,284 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Shalamar, to offload crude oil, PONL Buenos Aires, with containers, Red Line, to load cement, CEC Delta, Lynx, with general cargo, George Lyras, with steel scrap and Celine, with steel coils.
