SADIQABAD, Dec 13: Rahim Yar Khan police claimed to have arrested on Tuesday a member of a banned sectarian outfit, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, with a head money of Rs500,000.

Saddar circle SDPO Jamaat Ali Bukhari told journalists that Ihsanullah Shah alias Bara Shah was wanted by police in various murder cases. He was a close ally of Riaz Busra, Akram Lahori, Malik Ishaq and Ejaz Tarar, he claimed.

He alleged that Ihsan used to supply weapons for terrorism.

He said the police received an information that the accused was present in the area along the river, in the jurisdiction of Rukanpur police station, to supply arms. A police team led by SHO Abdul Hameed Qazafi conducted a successful raid and arrested the accused, he said.—APP
