There usually is a conflict among kids about whether Teen Titans is better or DC Super Hero Girls. Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Starfire and Beast Boy have boys drooling over their jokes, while Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, Bumblebee, Zatanna and Green Lantern, students from Metropolis High School, have special superpowers of their own.

DC’s latest animated film Mayhem in the Multiverse resolves the conflict by bringing both the teams together. DC Super Hero Girls have crossed over many times before in some episodes of Teen Titans Go! show on TV, but this is their first joint adventure, in an animated film. So it’s double the fun and double the action!

In an all-ages animated flick, Lex Luthor assembles all available bad guys into Legion of Doom, but is controlled by the fallen Kryptonian goddess Cythonna. All the Justice League members are sucked into the Phantom Zone with the use of a powerful amulet and it’s left up to Super Hero Girls to save the world and bring back their friends.

For that, they have to cross dimensions, which is where they come face-to-face with Teen Titans Go. The superpowers of the Super Hero Girls combined with the super humour of Teen Titans surely create a pandemonium.

The animated film sure has a message for all those who have been waiting for its release since the first look was revealed. It tells the viewers that friendship is also a superpower that we should not take for granted, since it helps in solving most of the problems.

Most of the Super Hero Girls fight with their problems throughout the screen time — Supergirl lives in Superman’s shadow, Zatanna fears her dark powers, Wonder Woman is overprotective for her sisters-in-arms and Bumblebee has issues with her self-confidence. Most of the issues are resolved when the team discuss them with their loved ones and in no time, Raven helps out Zatanna, while Cyborg restores Bumblebee’s confidence.

A formal introduction with the bad guys of DC Super Hero Girls would have helped, and it was awaited till the end. Many fans turned to watch the movie due to the title carrying Teen Titans Go, but in the end, got introduced to DC Super Hero Girls. The 80-minute animated film turns out to be a successful attempt to boost the rating of a less popular show with the more popular one.

As for the mission, the two teams undertake, your guess is as good as mine as to who would have won the battle. With Teen Titans doing their bit as youngsters who never take anything seriously, you are in for a laughing riot where Super Hero Girls try to complete the mission while the other team provides excessive comic relief!
