PESHAWAR, Dec 11: The combined opposition in the NWFP Assembly has decided to submit requisition for an assembly session on Monday. The decision was taken at a meeting of the joint opposition held at the residence of Bashir Ahmad Bilour, parliamentary leader of the Awami National Party in the assembly, Pakistan Muslim League MPA Nighat Yasmeen Orakzai told APP on Sunday.

The meeting was presided over by leader of opposition in the NWFP Assembly Shahzada Gustasip Khan and attended by PML parliamentary leader Mushtaq Ghani, PML-N parliamentary leader Anwar Kamal Marwat, MPA Murid Kazim of the People’s Party Parliamentarians and others.

Ms Orakzai said the meeting gave final shape to requisition which was signed by 37 members.

Ms Yasmin Orakzai said that the October 8 earthquake and its aftermath, the annual development programme and law and order situation in the province would make parts of the agenda.

The opposition parties are not satisfied with the proceedings of the recently concluded session of the assembly as few ministers attended the session.
