‘Iran-EU talks on 21st’

Published December 11, 2005

VIENNA, Dec 10: The European Union and Iran will hold talks on the nuclear issue on Dec 21 but expectations that Tehran will abandon sensitive activities are ‘very low’, Western diplomats have said. The diplomats told AFP on Saturday that the two sides would be meeting alone, and not with Russian experts as originally planned. “Dec 21 is confirmed. It will probably be in Vienna but the venue is not totally locked up,” said a Western diplomat.—AFP
