PIA appoints Wasim as bowling coach

KARACHI, Dec 9: Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram will serve PIA as bowling coach in Patron’s Cricket Trophy championship starting from Saturday.

PIA manager-coach Rashid Khan said that Wasim Akram, an employee of the Airlines, who is currently in India will be shortly arriving to take care of PIA pace attack.

Wasim Akram, who played a big role in PIA success at the national circuit, will train and coach airlines pace attack comprising Umar Gul, Najaf Shah, Muhammad Zahid, Fazle Akber and Aizaz Bin Ilyas.
