Tanvir strikes winner

LAHORE, Dec 9: Two goals each by Jawad Jamil Malik, Asif Tiwana and Feroze Gulzar helped Soneri Bank enter the final of the Guard Rice Cup polo beating Colony Textile 7-3 on Friday.

Tanvir Tariq scored the last and remaining one goal.

For the losers, Naveed M Sheikh (2) and Irfan Ali Hyder (1) were the scorers. A last-gasp goal by three-goal scorer, Ahmed Ali Tiwana helped Tri Star enter subsidiary final beating Sherwood 4-3 on Friday.

The other goal was scored by Kamran Noor. For the losers, Azhar Ali scored three goals.
