SWAT: Swat valley has several enchanting scenic spots, including Warghomo Kaar waterfall which is located in Lalko valley near Gabin Jabba.

The waterfall surrounded by lush green terrain originates from the glaciers of Kafar Sar and its roaring water falls in a deep canyon of rugged granite cliffs and thick forests of pine and cedar trees.

The waterfall is hidden from the tourists and only those who love adventure and can trek for about three hours can visit this spectacular remote waterfall.

“We have visited nearly all the famous waterfalls in Swat, but this spectacular waterfall was hidden from us. The Warghomo Kaar waterfall can be seen only when you walk along the zigzag stream while witnessing wildflowers of different colours on the way,” said Irfanullah, a resident of Mingora who visited the waterfall with a group of his friends.

The visitors said that the waterfall could be reached along the stream known as Beley Shaheed, which itself was a scenic spot for the tourists.

“This waterfall is unique in a way that its glacial milky water flows like curtains off the steep cliff’s edge. The waterfall does not let the visitors near it as its cold water splashes to a long distance,” Talha Siddiqui told this correspondent after his visit to the waterfall and took selfies in front of it.

The visitors said that the location of the waterfall was perfect for adventure and nature lovers and only those people could reach there who could trek an ascent amid a serene but mysterious landscape.

They said that the waterfall perched on the top of mountain cliffs was so enchanting. “Its stunning natural beauty can attract photographers and social media stars,” said another visitor Gohar Murad.
