Five Uzbek girls held

ISLAMABAD, Dec 7: The police have arrested five girls from Uzbekistan who were staying illegally in the federal capital. According to details, Shalimar police stopped a car in the posh F-11/2 area and on interrogations found that they were residing in Pakistan without proper documents and had no passport or legal documents to satisfy the authorities. The Uzbek girls have been recognised as Jamila, Mehbooba, Diana, Sweda and Gull Sher.

Police have arrested them under 14 foreign act and a case has been lodged in this regard.

16 ARRESTED: District police have arrested 16 people for allegedly violating laws. It also seized one-and-half kilogramme charas, five 30-bore unlicensed pistols and liquor. Separate cases have been registered against the accused.—Online
