KARACHI, Dec 7: The Sindh home department has directed all the District Coordination Officers to take measures against kite flying as ordered by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

According to the home department, the Supreme Court had passed an interim order in a suo motu case concerning loss of life of innocent children due to kite flying.

Besides other directions, the court had desired that in order to prevent loss of valuable human lives on account of kite flying stringent measures be adopted by the provincial and local governments.

In order to enforce the order of the Supreme Court in letter and spirit, all DCOs have been asked to take steps.—APP
