MIRPURKHAS: Digri police on Thursday arrested two more suspects in the case of armed attack on a monitoring team of irrigation department on May 2.

The team had come under attack when it found a tampered watercourse originating from Mureed Minor.

Subsequently, irrigation officials had registered the case against the attackers and nominated a number of suspects of whom Digri police had detained the main suspect Gohram Nohani and continued raids to arrest the rest.

On Thursday, police carried out a raid in an area after receiving a tip-off and arrested two more suspects Waro Khaskheli and Jano Nohani. Police said that the two would lead them to whereabouts of the remaining suspects.
