KARACHI: Amid political and economic uncertainty and no check and balance, Indus Motor Company (IMC) has again increased prices of Toyota vehicles by Rs140,000-510,000 effective on orders booked on or after April 30.

Assemblers have been jacking up prices freely citing exchange rate parity and higher freight charges.

Earlier, the company increased prices by up to Rs1.257m on March 23.

The price of Toyota Corolla models have been raised by Rs160,000-210,000.

The new price of Corolla 1.6 MT, AT, UPSPEC, 1.8 CVT, CVT SR and CVT SR Black is Rs3.909 million, Rs4,099m, Rs4.509m, Rs4.499m, Rs4.859m and Rs 4.899m.

Toyota Yaris prices have been jacked up by Rs140,000-160,000. The new price of Yaris 1.3MT, CVT, HMT, HCVT, 1.5 MT and 1.5 CVT is Rs3.039m, Rs3.249m, Rs3.209m, Rs3.379m, Rs3.449m and Rs3.659m.
