Money, arms donated to Taliban

ORAKZAI AGENCY, Oct 15: Leaders of various religious groups here on Sunday asked their members to install anti-aircraft guns on hilltops to hit warplanes attacking Afghanistan.

The leaders, in a big protest here at Mamozai, collected heavy weaponry from inhabitants of the agency to be passed on to the Taliban militia.

The participants of the meeting donated Rs1.3 million, 28 rocket launchers, 30 anti-aircraft guns, 172 Kalashnikovs and 47 Doshaka launchers.

The speakers said that the ongoing war between the US and Afghanistan was a battle between Muslims and the US and its allies.

They said that it was the religious duty of every Muslim to participate in the holy war against the US.
