SUKKUR, Dec 5: Activists of the Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party held protest demonstrations in Sukkur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and other areas on Monday against the Kalabagh dam. In Jacobabad, protestors, led by Dil Murad Lashari and Nizam Mastoi, held a protest demonstration in front of the press club.
They raised slogans against the government for insisting on construction of the dam.
They demanded shelving of the project. Similar demonstrations were also held in Sukkur and Shikarpur.
