LAHORE: Another fire broke out at a factory in Gajjumata and machinery, furniture and other goods were reduced to ashes, the official said, adding that Rescue 1122 dispatched over a dozen firefighters with three vehicles to launch operation.

He said the fire spread so fast that it damaged a part of the factory manufacturing garments.

He said the Rescue 1122 crew, however, managed to control the blaze after two hours or so. No injury to any employee was reported, he said, adding that police had launched an inquiry.
