ISLAMABAD, Dec 4: Police downed fancied Pakistan Steel in straight games to post their second victory in as many days of the 41st National volleyball championship at Liaquat Gymansium, Pakistan Sports Complex, on Sunday.

Police beat Pakistan Steel 25-14, 25-19, 25-14. All the other five matches of the day were also decided in straight games.

Punjab beat Sindh 25-8, 25-10, 25-13.

NWFP got the better of Railways 27-25, 25-23, 25-20.

Wapda prevailed over Pakistan Education Boards 25-10, 25-13, 25-12.

PAF disposed of AJK 25-19, 25-17, 25-6.

Army swept aside Islamabad 25-15, 25-14, 25-13.

Monday’s fixtures: Islamabad vs Sindh (9.00 am), Pakistan Army vs Punjab (10.30 am), Pakistan Steel vs Pakistan Boards (12.00 pm), Indian Punjab vs AJK (1.30 pm), POF vs NWFP (3.00 pm), Police vs Wapda (4.30 pm).—APP
