KARACHI: Huts for survivors

KARACHI, Dec 4: The Sindh Home Minister, Rauf Siddiqui, on Saturday said the first consignment of 100 quake-proof huts would soon be dispatched to the quake-hit areas.

This he said on his visit to the Jinnah Ground, Azizabad along with Muttahida Qaumi Movement Co-ordination Committee members Asif Siddiqui, Shahid Latif and nominated naib-nazim Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town Shoaib Akhtar to review the construction of quake-proof huts there.

Mr Siddiqui appreciated the MQM and the KKF for its efforts in the quake-hit areas.—PPI
