PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Tuesday transferred five senior officers, including two administrative secretaries and two divisional commissioners.

A notification issued by the establishment department said that Shakeel Ahmed Mian, secretary local government and rural development department, had been relieved of his duties under the provincial government to enable him to join his duties with the federal government.

Arshad Khan, secretary provincial information department, has been transferred and posted commissioner Bannu division, while Adil Siddique, secretary Benevolent Fund Cell, has been appointed secretary information and public relations department.

Commissioner Malakand division Syed Zaheerul Islam has been transferred and posted secretary local government department.

Commissioner Bannu division Shaukat Ali Yousfazai has been transferred and posted commissioner Malakand division.
