Pakistan has reported 98 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 1,526,666. This is the second day in a row the country has reported less than 100 cases.

Meanwhile, no deaths have been reported for the last eight days.

The total number of cases has risen to 1,526,666 and the death toll remains 30,361. The country's positivity rate stands at 0.43 per cent.

The breakdown of cases is as follows:

  • Punjab: 40 cases
  • Sindh: 34 cases
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 16 cases
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 6 cases
  • Islamabad: 1 case
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 1 case
