ISLAMABAD: Robbers and thieves looted cash and valuables from different areas of capital, police said on Wednesday.

In the first incident, two persons in police uniform deprived an Afghan couple of $1,000 and gold ornaments worth Rs800,000 in F-7/1 and escaped, the police said.

In another incident, two gunmen entered the house of Mohammad Ali in Model Town and held up family at gunpoint and made off with cash and gold.

Similarly, four armed men intercepted Abdullah Shakil in Rawat and snatched his car.

Later, they looted electronic items, Rs5,000 in cash, and three mobile phons and escaped, the police said.

Likewise, two robbers intercepted and held up Mohammad Imran and two other persons at gunpoint and looted Rs100,000 in cash in G-9/3, police said.

Two gunmen intercepted Mohammad Wasif at Rawat and snatched a new brand Honda 125 motorcycle from him at gunpoint, they added.

Furthermore, three gunmen entered a pharmacy in Bahria Town Phase 4 and and made off Rs40,000 in cash, they said.

Two gunmen held up Mohammad Osama near Nescom Hospital and deprived him Honda CD-70, Rs7000 in cash and a mobile phone, they added.

Moreover, four persons armed with weapons robbed Antal Abbas of Rs20,000 cash and a mobile at gunpoint in I-11/4, the police said.

Three gunmen looted Syed Kshif Abbas of Rs35,000 and a mobile phone in G-13/1.

In another robbery incidents, four gunmen intercepted Mohammad Irfan in G-6/1-2 and snatched his Honda CD-70, Rs45,000 cash, two ATM cards, driving and 9MM pistol licenses, CNIC and vaccination card.

Meanwhile, some burglars broke into a mobile shop of Amir Waheed in Bhara Kahu and made off with cash and mobiles, the police said.

Moreover, thieves, working in a house at Sir Chowk as house servants made off with a Honda 125 motorcycle, Rs100,000 in cash.

A gang of four culprits offered a ride to Arsalan Mehboob at Motorway Chowk and looted Rs150,000 in cash and escaped.
