TOBA TEK SINGH, Dec 1: City police arrested on Thursday an Elite Force constable for allegedly selling prize bond chits. Police said city constable Shahid Iqbal and his accomplice Saeed of Muhammadpura locality were involved in selling of prize bond chits and DPO Akhtar Laleka had ordered to arrest them red-handed.

City SHO Hafiz Ghulam Mustafa Gujjar conducted a raid near water supply works of district courts and arrested them red-handed.

The police also recovered sale record of chits and cash worth Rs3,900 from their possession.

Both were sent behind the bars after registration of a case.
