SWABI, Dec 1: The Oxford University Press (OUP), Pakistan, organized a book fair/exhibition at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology. A press release issued on Thursday said that between 1,200 and 1,400 titles on engineering, I.T, history, politics, current affairs, literature, biographies, Pakistan affairs, dictionaries, school and college textbooks as well as story books for children were displayed.

The students and faculty members visited the fair and selected books for library and personal use. Students and other visitors took keen interest in Oxford dictionaries, thesaurus and books on general topics.

A spokesman for the OUP said that they were quite happy with arrangements made and support provided by the GIK Institute which enabled them to hold the exhibition.

The exhibition, he said, encouraged them to plan more such events for schools and institutes.
