LAHORE: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar says that point-scoring on every issue is the only goal of the opposition leaders who can make only hollow claims from their drawing rooms.

He was talking to provincial ministers Sibtain Khan, Dr Akhtar Malik and Hafiz Mumtaz Ahmad who called on him in his office on Thursday. The visitors expressed confidence in the leadership of the CM as well as that of PM Imran Khan.

Buzdar lamented that the opposition was preoccupied with the lust for power and its conduct was irresponsible as it had harmed national unity through negative politics.

Meanwhile, the chief minister laid the foundation stone of a 1000-bed general hospital to be completed at a cost of Rs7.5bn on Ferozepur Road.
