KARACHI, Nov 29: Holders LLWC outwitted Al-Shahbaz Club 3-2 in an exciting tussle after remaining 1-0 ahead at the interval in the opening match of the 3rd KASB Premier Football League at UP Gymkhana on Tuesday.

Aurangzaib struck twice in the 33rd and 44th minute while Liaquat Ali converted a 52nd-minute spot-kick.

Korangi’s Al-Shahbaz replied through Jahangir Khan (48th minute penalty-kick) and Abdul Rehman who connected the ball in with a 62nd-minute header.

LLWC won the event last year with Baloch Muhammadan getting second and Kalri Star third spot.

Karachi United, with the help of the KASB Group, is organizing the league featuring top clubs.

The winners will get Rs100,000 while the runners-up and third-placed team will receive Rs50,000 and Rs25,000, respectively.
