PESHAWAR, Nov 29: The Pukhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party has decided to observe the 20th death anniversary of Abdus Samad Khan Shaheed and organize a public meeting in the city on Dec 8.

In a statement issued here after a party meeting on Monday, PMAP provincial President Mukhtiar Khan Yousufzai said the party leaders would pay rich tributes to the valiant struggle of Khan Shaheed, killed in a bomb blast 20 years ago in Quetta, who had organized the Pukhtuns under one banner to achieve their legal, political, social and constitutional rights.

He said the PMAP was continuing the struggle set by Khan Shaheed and his companions. The PMAP chairman, Mehmood Khan Achekzai, would also address a public meeting on Dec 8 in Peshawar, he added.
