LAHORE: Police registered two cases against suspects for raping two women.

The Garden Town police lodged a case some two weeks after a woman was allegedly raped by a man. She alleged that the suspect used to visit her home and developed friendship with her. She said he wanted to marry her despite knowing the fact that she was already married and mother of a baby.

Meanwhile, both continued to meet each other, she said, adding that as the matter came to the notice of her husband, he divorced her.

She alleged that the man took her to a hotel saying he was going to marry her there but he raped her and hurled threats.

In another incident, a woman told the Racecourse police that she was in a search of job and the suspect took her in a room of a hotel saying he wanted to arrange a meeting with an employer.

She said the man raped her after intoxicating her.
