PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Monday reshuffled several senior officials, including the Peshawar deputy commissioner.

Deputy commissioner, Peshawar, Captain retired Khalid Mehmood was transferred and posted as director general Galiyat Development Authority against the vacant post by relieving commissioner Hazara division Mutaher Zeb of the additional charge.

Additional secretary forest, environment and wildlife department Shafiullah Khan was posted as Peshawar deputy commissioner.

Director general local government and rural development Khuda Bakhsh was transferred and posted as special secretary forestry, environment and wildlife department. He was replaced by additional secretary home and tribal affairs Mohammad Usman.

Similarly, Mansoor Qaiser, who was awaiting posting in establishment department, was posted as director industries against the vacant post.
