China has reported 234 new confirmed coronavirus cases, the national health authority said, compared with 239 a day earlier.
Of the new cases, 87 were locally transmitted, the National Health Commission said, compared with 112 a day earlier.
About half of the new local cases were in the southern province of Guangdong, Reuters reported.
