KARACHI, Nov 28: A dozen ships carrying chemicals, containers and raw sugar are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where 10 vessels were berthed.

They are: Maria N.M, to unload raw sugar, Ain Oussera, to load rice, Nanbu, to unload and load general cargo, Nefeli-1, Corin Thaikos, Iran Baluchestan, Pu He, and Sima Tara, to unload and load containers, Sutra Tiga, to offload oils, and Sea Crane, to unload DAP fertilizer.

Five ships, Kota Teraju, Rashleigh, Aonoble, Nefleli-1 and Manbu departed on Monday, while Lrika, Iran Baluchestan, Sima Tara, Gant Vision, Erikousa, Morning Sun and Pu He are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 92,853 tons comprising 10.605 tons of export cargo and 82,248 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Shalamar, with crude oil, Al-Marwah, with chemicals, PONL Buenos Aires, APL Jeddah, Eax Sanctity, Y.M. Sun, Kota Tampan, with containers, Sunny Falcon, with 33,500 tons of raw sugar, Izola, with steel coils, Futami, with general cargo and Borzna, with steel.
