GUJRANWALA: A man allegedly killed his wife, mother-in-law and two children on Tuesday by beating them with a club over a family feud here on Tuesday at Uncha Kalair village near Wazirabad.
Reports said Sarwar Shah had been residing with his in-laws for long and off and on quarrelled with the family members.
On ,Monday night, Sarwar got infuriated after an argument and beat his wife Saadia Bibi (40), mother-in-law Rashida (60), son Sahil Abass (6) and daughter Harram Fatima (4) with a club, killing them on the spot. The suspect managed his escape.
Police have shifted the bodies to Wazirabad Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for autopsy.
The chief minister has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the Punjab IG.
