KARACHI: Bank AL Habib Ltd posted a net profit of Rs4.77 billion in the Oct-Dec quarter, up two per cent from a year ago, a stock filing showed on Wednesday.
This took the full-year earnings of the bank to Rs18.7bn, up 5pc from 2020. The company also announced a cash dividend of Rs7 per share versus the expectation of Rs5 per share, according to a note by Insight Securities.
GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd told investors that it made a net profit of Rs2.13bn in 2021, up 69.12pc from the preceding year.
The company didn’t announce any dividend despite delivering ‘a fine profit’ last year. “The company can secure better shareholder returns in future by investing more in the capacity building of its core brands, including Panadol and CaC-1000 Plus,” it said.
