KARACHI: Intermittent rain turned weather pleasant in the city on Tuesday with North Karachi receiving the maximum rainfall of 17.4mm.

The Met office said that the drizzle/light rain in several districts of Sindh was induced by a weak westerly wave over south Balochistan with its trough extending up to western Sindh.

It recorded 17.2mm in Saadi Town followed by 14.2mm in Surjani Town, 9.6mm in Gadap, 9mm in the University Road area, 6.5mm in Quaidabad, 5.5mm in Gulshan-i-Maymar, 4.5mm in Keamari, 3.8mm in Jinnah Terminal, 2mm in Gulshan-i-Hadeed, DHA and Orangi Town 1mm each and 1.5mm in Nazimabad.

The Met office has forecast “fair weather with cool nights” with minimum temperature ranging between 14 to 16 degrees Celsius for the next two days (Wednesday/Thursday).
