China's health authority has recorded 43 new confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, up from 27 a day earlier, Reuters reports.
Of the new infections, 13 were locally transmitted, according to a statement by the National Health Commission, compared with nine a day earlier.
The new locally transmitted cases were in Beijing, Guangxi, Tianjin, Hebei, Hunan and Guangdong.
