DERA MURAD JAMALI: A man gunned down his two brothers and injured three others in the Balan Shakh area of Naseerabad district, police said on Wednesday.

The injured include a brother and two nephews of the deceased.

Police officials said that the incident took place in Goth Ali Gul Jattak when the accused opened indiscriminate fire on his brothers and nephews while they were working in a field.

“Two brothers died on the spot, while the third one and two nephews were injured in the firing,” a senior police officer said, adding that police rushed to the site after receiving information about the incident and took the bodies and injured to the district hospital Dera Murad Jamali.

Police said that the cause of the killing was a land dispute.

The deceased were identified as Ali Murad Brohi and Ali Hussain Brohi, while the injured included Mohammad Hassan, Ali Asghar and Ali Akbar.

The injured were shifted to Larkana in view of their serious condition.

The accused fled from the crime scene.

Police have registered a case and started investigation. No arrest was reported so far.
