QUETTA: President Dr Arif Alvi arrived in Gwadar on Thursday on a two-day visit during which he will chair a high-level meeting and attend briefings on various issues, including ongoing development projects in the port city.

Balochistan Governor Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha, Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo and Chief Secretary Mathar Niaz Rana received President Alvi at Gwadar airport.

Commissioner Makran Shabbir Ahmed Mengal, Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Jameel Ahmed Baloch and other officials were also present on the occasion.
