Former Indian judge visits Moenjodaro

LARKANA, Nov 24: The former acting chief justice of the Calcutta High Court, Mr Nure Alam Chaudhry, his wife Dr Mumtaz and daughter Dr Shabana visited Moenjodaro on Thursday. Officers of the department of archaeology and Pakistan Tourism and Development Corporation (PTDC) briefed them on the Indus valley civilization.

Justice Chaudhry wrote in the visitors’ book that the visit had taken them 5,000 years back.

Dr Mumtaz in her note praised the preservation of the site.

Dr Shabana said it was like a dream come true to visit Moenjodaro.

She praised historical objects put into the museum.
