Pakistan has reported 5,472 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, marking the highest daily caseload since August 4.
The country had recorded 5,661 infections on that date.
The country's positivity rate is 9.5pc.
The countrywide breakdown is as follows:
- Sindh: 3,378 cases, 6 deaths
- Punjab: 1,127 cases
- Islamabad: 702 cases
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 200 cases, 2 deaths
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 41 cases
- Balochistan: 15 cases
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 9 cases
