MANSEHRA: Four people, including three tourists, were killed in separate road accidents in parts of the district on Monday night.

A tourist family was on way back to Taxila from Kaghan valley when the car they were travelling in skidded off the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road and plunged into a ravine near Ghanool area.

Two of the five tourists onboard the car were pronounced dead at the Civil Hospital Balakot. Two of the injured were referred to Ayub Medical Complex Hospital, Abbottabad, in critical condition.

The police identified the victims as Asam Ali Raza and an unidentified woman.

The Balakot police after completing the medico-legal formalities dispatched the bodies to Taxila.

In another incident, two people, including a boy, were killed when a rickshaw and taxicab collided head-on on the Oghi-Battagram Road in Oghi.

The victims were identified as Mohammad Nasir and Mujahid.
