KARACHI, Nov 24: Four ships carrying raw sugar and coal are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where eight ships were berthed. They are: Parinda Naree and Tanate, to unload load general cargo, Hyundai Sprinter, Kota Wangsa and Kota Teraju, to unload and load containers, Johar, to offload crude oil, and Marine Blue, to offload cars.

Five ships — APL Cairo, Kuo Hung, Gulf Pride, Berana and Marine Blue — departed on Thursday, while Parinda Naree, Xin Qiang, Lake Ranger, Thor Captain, Kota Wangsa and Johar are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active at 82,972 tons comprising 22,558 tons of export cargo, including 5,553 tons of rice and 60,414 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Friday: Argonaut and Sagamore, with containers, Maria N.M., with 39,500 tons of sugar, and Zhong Hai, with 39,376 tons of coal.
