1,000 students admitted to PU campus

GUJRANWALA, Nov 23: As many as 1,000 students have been admitted to various disciplines at the Punjab University campus here during the last one year. This was stated by university director-general Prof Dr. Liaquat Ali while speaking at a meeting held here on Wednesday.

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education chairman Col Masoodul Haq (retired) and heads of various colleges and schools, besides educationists were also present in the meeting.

The director-general said admission fee of the university was comparatively less than that of other universities.

The meeting was told that the Gujranwala campus was beneficial for students of the city and its suburbs.
