ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has finally decided to provide basic facilities and build infrastructure in I-14 and I-16.

According to the CDA spokesperson, development work is going on in both sectors and it has been decided to build parks, walking tracks and provide facility of healthy activities.

He said parks would be established in Sector I-16/2 and I-14/1.

According to a statement, development in both sectors remained stalled for a long time and current management of the civic agency in first phase started road infrastructure, drainage system and provided other facilities.

“Now it has been decided to provide parks and walking tracks so that residents would have healthy activities. Plantation has been started in the parks and flowers will also be planted to enhance the beauty of parks,” it said.

“Moreover it has been decided to install swings, build walkways and jogging tracks. There will be arrangements to keep parks clean,” the statement said.
